Great reminder that in times of intentional change, don’t push out your 10x team members

Great reminder in the article at the link below about how important your stars are… Those that do much more than the average team members. During my time in the private sector, we spent a lot of time talking about our top employees – whether they were in leadership, were SMEs, or just GREAT at their front line roles. In the public sector, I have come across many as well – and they do stand out from the rest who are often happy with the status quo.

Several points raised here about how to keep, and motivate your 10x’ers to include putting them on your biggest challenges to solve, don’t weigh them down with routine or non-value add work, and spend time with them to make sure they are appreciated and valued for what they do and the positive example they are setting.
