Latest data from a LinkedIn survey shows most organizations moving back to in person work

Some interesting perspectives and data points at the link below about the ongoing shift to getting folks back to a formal office environment. Some interesting takeaways for me included the following:

  • 73% of business leaders at companies with ongoing RTO policies say they will require employees to work from the office at least three days a week by the end of 2025.
  • S&P 500 companies that require workers to return to the office subsequently experience “abnormally high” rates of workers quitting and have a harder time filling open roles.
  • The researchers found that those leaving are often female, more senior, or more skilled.
  • The RTO mandates are having pretty specific and negative impacts and causing brain drain from companies.
