As we approach the possibility of another government shutdown, the potential impact feels broader than in past years – especially as many agencies and contractors are still recovering from the challenges of recent months. Even now, it’s more difficult to reach government counterparts, and if the shutdown triggers additional furloughs or disruptions, we could see communication gaps across multiple programs and projects. Hopefully, a shutdown can be avoided so both government and industry can focus on moving forward toward a new sense of normal. It may never look quite the same as before, but finding stability – however it takes shape – will be critical for everyone involved.
